Fresh batch of over 4,800 pilgrims leave Jammu for Amarnath Yatra

Jammu, July 19 (UNI) A fresh batch of more than 4800 pilgrims left for Shri Amarnath cave shrine for both Pahalgam and Baltal routes in Kashmir on Friday from Bhagwati Nagar Yatri Niwas base camp here.
As many as 4821 pilgrims left for Baltal in a fleet of 150.
For Baltal, 1731 pilgrims and for Pahalgam, 3090 pilgrims left from the base camp amidst tight security arrangements.

Last year, over 4.5 lakh pilgrims paid obeisance at the cave shrine.
The 52-day-long Amarnath Yatra will conclude on August 19. UNI VBH AKS
