Flooding in Oman claim lives of 17 people

Muscat, Apr 16 (UNI) Seventeen people, including nine schoolchildren, died as a result of massive flooding in Oman, the Al Arabiya broadcaster reported.

Rescuers are searching for survivors in the affected regions of the country, the report said on Monday.

Large-scale flooding was caused by heavy rains over the past few days.
