F-Salon opens its first salon in Hyderabad, five more on pipeline in Telangana

Hyderabad, Oct 4 (UNI) F-Salon, the flagship beauty salon brand from Fashion TV, on Tuesday announced it has opened its first salon in Hyderabad and five more salons are in pipeline in Telangana.
Plans are also on the anvil to expand to tier-11 and tier-3 cities in Telangana. We will open luxurious salons in Urban areas and Compact models in the tier-II and III cities, said Mr. Priyesh Jain, Senior Manager-Franchise Sales, Fashion TV, in a release here.
Tier-II cities have a huge potential, yet an underdeveloped market that is waiting to be explored by the beauty space and we will be the race, he added.
The beauty space is growing at the rate of 10 per cent per annum and more, he said.
Currently, we have 13 salons across India and in which five in South India. Ten new salons are on the anvil, he added.
Educationist turned ISB Alumni, Fashion entrepreneur, Sangeeta Rajesh , who brings Fashion TV’s F Salon to Hyderabad, said F Salon will bring the latest international trends of styles and fashion to Hyderabad. Thanks to F TV and its reach in the international fashion platform Hyderabad will now have access to all and the same thanks to the arrival of the F salon in Hyderabad.
Located in Banjara Hills, Road No 12, the F Salon in Hyderabad is spread over a lavish 3500 sq ft area with 6 hair cutting stations, 3 facial rooms, Spa rooms, one bridal room and one VIP room, she added.
Men are getting more and more enthusiastic about beauty services, she said men’s grooming is growing slightly faster than in women's category, as men are getting more conscious about their looks.
Earlier salon business used to be dominated by women in the ratio of 80:20 but now this ratio has changed to 65:35, she said.
The business itself is rapidly changing. A few years ago, beauty salons used to offer regular services (waxing, threading, bleaching, facials). Now they offer specialised services like visible radiance lightening facials, intense glow facials, skin toning facials, hair reviving, hair revitalising and scalp conditioning programmes, among other things, she added.
Beauty salon industry in our country is stated to be worth around ₹10,000 crore. It is evident that the salon industry is not only booming but also making people aware about self grooming, said Priyesh.
Today ,India has 1000 plus branded beauty salons. There are 25 big brands in the salon industry. There is a great potential for expansion, he added.
