EOW arrests digital company director for running Ponzi scheme

Bhubaneswar, May 20 (UNI) The Economic Offence Wing (EOW) of Odisha police has arrested the director of Digital Revolution Technologies from Brindavan, Mathura in Uttar Pradesh on the charge of running a Ponzi scheme under the guise of digital marketing.
EOW sources here on Friday said the main accused Prince Kumar of Muzaffarpur, Bihar, was arrested on May 18 from Brindaban, under various sections of the Indian Penal Code related to cheating, forgery, fraud, criminal breach of trust and conspiracy. Provisions under the Information Technology Act, Prize Chits & Money Circulation Scheme (Banning) Act, 1978 and Odisha Protection of Interests of Depositors (in Financial Establishment) Act were slapped on him.
The arrested accused was produced before the Court of CJM, Mathura. He is being brought to Odisha.
