Paloma Dhillon set to star alongside Rajveer Deol in Avnish Barjatya’s directorial debut

Mumbai, May 20 (UNI) Veteran Bollywood actress Poonam Dhillon’s daughter Paloma Dhillon is set to make her Bollywood debut in a film by Rajshri Productions. The latest production will mark the debut of at least three people -- that of iconic film maker Sooraj Barjatya’s son Avnish S. Barjatya as director, Paloma Dhillon's launch alongside that by Rajveer Deol, the younger son of Sunny Deol.
Paloma's casting was announced by Rajshri Productions on its official Twitter page.
“Rajshri Productions is proud to announce Paloma opposite Rajveer Deol in Rajshri's next, helmed by Avnish Barjatya. A memorable journey begins! #PalomaThakeriaDhillon #RajveerDeol #AvnishBarjatya #SoorajBarjatya @poonamdhillon #AshokThakeria #AnmolThakeriaDhillon,” the tweet read.
Taking toTwitter, actress Madhuri Dixit wished the up and coming actress good luck on her latest venture. She wrote “My journey began with Rajshri Productions & #PalomaThakeriaDhillon you’re so so lucky that you are also starting your journey with them! It’s going to very special and fun! Wishing you & the whole team all the very best! Have an awesome journey!”
Regarding Paloma Dhillon’s role in the film, Avnish said “Paloma is a powerful performer and has tremendous screen presence.”
“She is the perfect fit for my character. Her immense work ethic and enthusiasm make it so exciting to be working with her every day. Paloma and Rajveer share great chemistry together on screen and play off each other really well. They have both seamlessly blended into their roles.”
Taking to their official Instagram page, Rajshri Films posted, “Rajshri Productions is proud to announce Paloma opposite Rajveer Deol in Rajshri's next, helmed by Avnish Barjatya. A memorable journey begins!”
Billed as a coming of age romance, the movie is Avnish’s take on modern millenial relationships and their underlying complexities.
