England's batter Tom Banton replaces injured Bethell in Champions Trophy squad

Dubai, Feb 12 (UNI) Tom Banton, who replaced Bethell in the ongoing ODI series in India, will also feature in the much-awaited tournament starting February 19.
England have named Tom Banton as the replacement in the ICC Men's Champions Trophy 2025 squad for Jacob Bethell, who was ruled out owing to a left hamstring injury, according to an ICC media release.
Bethell, who was part of England’s squad for the ongoing ODI series against India, had scored an impressive half-century in the series opener.
