Patna, June 29 (UNI) Bihar government said that 77.8% people of the state were covered under various cleanliness schemes and the rest of the people would be covered soon.
Replying to a short noticed question of Arun Shankar Prasad in the state assembly during pre-lunch sitting on Wednesday, Rural Works Department Minister Shrawan Kumar said that 49% families were covered under the shauchalay scheme in the year 2012-13.
Treating the year as baseline he said that one crore 22 lakh 15 thousand families have been covered under the scheme and maintained that one crore 62 families were surveyed in the first phase during the period.
