EAM stresses on need for resilient and reliable supply chains at BRICS meeting

New Delhi, May 19 (UNI) External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, participating in a virtual meeting with his counterparts from the BRICS grouping of China, Russia, Brazil and South Africa, on Thursday emphasized that the Covid pandemic followed by the Ukraine conflict was causing enormous socio-economic hardships in the developing world and there is need for establishing resilient and reliable supply chains.
In a series of tweets, after the virtual meeting, the EAM outlined the four points he made at the meeting.
