Dr. Srivastava from Hyderabad donate blood 136 times since 1983

Hyderabad, June 12 (UNI) Dr Yogesh Raj Srivastava from Hyderabad has donated blood 136 times since 1983.
On the occasion of World Blood Donor Day on June 14, Dr Srivastava, a Godfrey Phillips Bravery Award winner, in a statement, appealed to the youth to come forward to donate blood and save their lives.
India requires an estimated 14.6 million units of blood annually; he said there is a constant need for blood transfusions, with a demand arising every 2 seconds.
