Crew of ship that hit bridge in Baltimore could remain on board for 2 weeks

Washington, Mar 27 (UNI) The crew of the Dali cargo ship that struck the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore, leading to its collapse, could remain on board for up to two weeks to ensure the vessel does not sink while the wreckage is being removed, the UK newspaper Daily Mail reported on Wednesday, citing a director of a local mariners' charity.

Apostleship of the Sea director Andy Middleton told the UK news outlet that the crew, consisting of 22 Indian nationals, could be hauled on land if there were to be any signs of the vessel taking on water.
