Mumbai, May 28 (UNI) The Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) on Tuesday formed division-wise Drought Monitoring Committees to visit drought-affected areas in the state to get information about conditions there.
An official press statement issued by MPCC stated that even though there is a dire situation of drought in the state, a big problem of drinking water and animal fodder and unemployment, the corrupt Mahayuti government in the state is not worried about drought, it claimed.
Hence, division-wise responsibility has been assigned on directions of state in-charge Ramesh Chennithala and on suggestion of state party president Nana Patole.
