Conditions favourable for further advance of SW Monsoon: Met

Amaravathi (Andhra Pradesh) Conditions are favourable for further advance of Southwest Monsoon into some more parts of Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Northwest Bay of Bengal, some parts of Gangetic West Bengal, remaining parts of Sub Himalayan West Bengal and some parts of Bihar during next 4-5 days, Meteorological Centre said on Sunday.
In a daily weather report here, it said that a cyclonic circulation lies over the Southwest & adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal between 3.1 km & 7.6 km above mean sea level.
The trough from Rayalaseema to the central Bay of Bengal across Westcentral Bay of Bengal between 3.1 km & 5.8 km above mean sea level has become less marked.
