Concerted efforts needed to make ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp’ successful: Arunachal Guv

Itanagar, Dec 7 (UNI) Paying his maiden visit to Longding district, Arunachal Pradesh Governor Lt General (Retd) KT Parnaik on Thursday flagged off the ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra’ campaign and interacted with Government officials, Gaon Burahs, Panchayat members, Village Chiefs and public of the southern Arunachal district at its headquarters, Longding.
Giving a boost to the programme, the Governor flagged off the ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra’ van from Longding for remote villages of the district, a communique from the Raj Bhavan said.
He said that in the spirit of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas aur Sabka Prayas’, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra with special focus on tribal communities. He called upon the villagers to avail benefits from the Central Government programmes and schemes, and advised those who are yet to avail benefits to get themselves registered.
