Jammu, Feb 8 (UNI) Appealing people to keep supporting law enforcement agencies to ensure maintenance of peace in region, Deputy Inspector General of Police Rajouri Poonch range, Dr. Haseeb Mughal on Wednesday impressed upon members of Panchayat Raj Institutions (PRIs) and civilians to come forward and share information on narcotics and movement of anti-nationals elements to thwart designs of the enemy.
Chairing a civil society interaction meeting at Mendhar Sub Division Headquarter in bordering Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir, Dr. Mughal assured the participants that all the issues raised by them have been registered and will be resolved on priority.
The DIG while mentioning different types of crime acts said that drug menace is the biggest challenge before society and it requires a collaborative approach from all the stakeholders so that this menace is brought to an end and life of future generations is protected.
