Mysuru, April 26 (UNI) Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah voted on Friday in his native Siddaramanahundi of Mysuru taluk. Accompanied by his son Dr Yathindra Siddaramaiah, the chief minister cast his vote amidst a flurry of media attention.
Speaking to reporters, Siddaramaiah expressed optimism about the prospects of Congress candidates in various Lok Sabha constituencies. He predicted victories for the Congress in Mysore-Kodagu, Chamarajnagar, Hassan, and Mandya LS constituencies.
Siddaramaiah did not mince words while addressing Prime Minister Narendra Modi's recent speeches, describing them as 'emotional' and attributing them to what he termed as desperation following an unfavourable response in the first phase of LS polls.
