Chief Commissioner directs to strictly implement Punjab Transparency & Accountability Act

Jalandhar, Feb 17 (UNI) Chief Commissioner of Punjab Transparency and Accountability Commission, Vijay Kumar Janjua, on Monday directed the officials of various departments to ensure strict implementation of the Punjab Transparency and Accountability Act, 2018, in letter and spirit.
Chairing a meeting at the District Administrative Complex Jalandhar, Janjua stressed that the Act is designed to guarantee timely and hassle-free delivery of public services.
He highlighted that any delay beyond the prescribed timeline would attract a penalty up to Rs 10,000 per case.
