BYC continues its sit-ins despite negotiations with govt

Islamabad, Aug 3 (UNI) The Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC) has decided to continue with its sit-ins and protests in various parts of Balochistan, despite having reached a successful agreement with the government on Friday, media reports said.
On Friday, it was announced that the BYC agreed with the government to conclude the protest. The government agreed to the demands, which included the immediate release of all the protesters detained in Pakistan and Karachi, and those who are in judicial custody will be released by August 5.
The agreement was signed by Dr. Mahrang Baloch, the protesters representative, and the deputy commissioner of Gwadar, the Express Tribune reports.
