Bommai woos Maratha community, says Modi a visionary leader akin to Chhatrapati Shivaji

Haveri, Apri 27 (UNI) In a bid to garner support from the Maratha community in Haveri, Basavaraj Bommai, the BJP candidate for the Gadag-Haveri Lok Sabha constituency, underscored Prime Minister Narendra Modi's alignment with the legacy of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
Speaking at a gathering of the Maratha community here on Saturday, Bommai emphasised the significance of Modi's leadership in echoing the principles championed by Shivaji Maharaj.
Bommai, who shared his personal ties with the Maratha community by mentioning his upbringing in Maratha Galli in Hubballi, expressed solidarity with their aspirations. He asserted that Modi's endeavors resonate with the ethos of Shivaji Maharaj's struggles and called upon the Maratha community to rally behind Modi for the advancement of the nation.
