Body of Rajasthan man swept away in Meghalaya waterfalls yet to be found

Shillong, May 18 (UNI) The body of a 25-year-old man, who was swept away by raging waters under the base of Moopun waterfalls in Mutong village in Meghalaya’s East Jaintia Hills district on May 15, is yet to be recovered, police officials said on Wednesday.

A government official said that the district administration has written to the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) to assist the State to launch search and rescue the missing person who is identified as Monu Maheria.
