BLADE India relocates its vertiport in Pune

Pune, Feb 14 (UNI): Urban Air Mobility company, BLADE India that has been providing daily scheduled by-the-seat helicopter services from Pune-Mumbai-Shirdi has announced the relocation of its vertiport from Kharadi pune to Koregaon Park. BLADE fliers can now reach the centrally located Koregaon Park lounge, right in the residential and commercial hub of the city and take-off to Mumbai or any other destination BLADE caters to.
A press release today said that a vertiport is a designated area that is designed for vertical landing and take-offs of aircraft or Electric vertical aircraft (EVA). The new location ensures fliers don't just cut their inter-city travel time but also have a more accessible commute within Pune.
Commenting on the launch, Payal Satish, Commercial Director, BLADE India said, “One of the key benefits of helicopters and vertical aircrafts in general is that you don't need large landing spaces. This shift ensures fliers don't have to spend extra time on the road in first reaching the BLADE heliport. The current location is convenient for Punekars especially business travellers as they are within minutes reach.”
