BJP workers object to offering of tickets to Congress dissidents

Shimla, Mar 26 (UNI) The Bharatiya Janata Party workers and former MLAs who had lost assembly elections in 2022, have revolted against the decision of party leaders to offer tickets to six Congress dissidents (all former MLAs).
Former BJP minister from Lahaul Spiti district, Ram Lal Markandeya, announced in a public meeting that he would fight assembly elections against the official BJP candidate Ravi Thakur, who joined party on Saturday.
Dr Markandeya said that he would not tolerate the corrupt under any circumstances and would not allow him to move forward, even as he threatened to quit politics.
