BJP trying to create rift between two communities: Akbaruddin Owaisi

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Nov 6 (UNI) Accusing the BJP of trying to create rift between the two principal communities in the country, AIMIM leader and Telangana MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi has urged politicians to work for uniting the society.
"BJP is trying to create a rift between the two communities. The situation in the country is such that Muslims are being lynched. This must stop now. There is a need to work for uniting the society," he said while addressing a campaign rally here on Tuesday night.
He alleged that Muslims are held responsible if anything happens in the country, even though the community is the poorest and most backward. "No political party takes the initiative and works for their uplift," he said, while regretting that no one was talking about women's safety, unemployment, inflation, an oppressive economy, and the surging petrol and diesel prices in the country.
