BJP slams Maha Govt

Aurangabad, Maharashtra, May 18 (UNI) The city unit of BJP on Wednesday lashed out at the ruling Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA ) government in the state, accusing it of supporting hooliganism and jeopardising the people's right to live in peace.
Addressing reporters here, party's city unit president Sanjay Kenekar, accompanied by state spokesperson Ejaz Deshmukh, claimed that ever since the coalition government came to power in the state, there have been growing instances of intimidation by the law enforcement agencies.
The ruling party has devised a cunning ploy to terrorise the opposition, leading to unrest in the state, they alleged and cited various instances such as the murder of sadhus in Palghar, beating of a Thane civic engineer at the bungalow of Minister (Jitendra) Awhad, deadly attack on Gopichand Padalkar, attack on the office of BJP spokesperson Vinayak Ambekar by NCP workers, NCP workers attempt to disrupt Union Minister Smriti Irani's programme and attempt to beat up an actress.
