Bihar: Samrat urges Nitish to withdraw decision observing his mother's anniversary as state function

Patna, Mar 18 (UNI) Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary on Tuesday requested the Chief Minister Nitish Kumar to withdraw the decision observing his mother's anniversary as a state function.
Through his letter, a copy of which was circulated in the media, Choudhary urged Kumar to withdraw the related letter issued recently by the Cabinet Secretariat Department.Extending his gratitude towards Kumar for exhibiting his great sensitivity towards his mother's contributions in the society, Choudhary said that it was a matter of great pride for him that he got the opportunity to discharge the responsibilities in the NDA government under Kumar's able leadership.Choudhary further said that it was Kumar's great sensitivity that he decided to celebrate the birth anniversary of his ( Choudhary's) mother, former MLA Late Parvati Devi, as a state function, recognising her social and political works.He said this decision is a reflection of Kumar's respect and reverence for his mother.UNI RS SS

ASI to suspends the repair work of Sri Jagannath Temple’s Ratna Bhandars
