Big slap on the face of those who used to say Punjab will get no investment: Mann

Rajpura (Patiala), Oct 1 (UNI) Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann on Sunday said that due to strenuous efforts of the state government global Bussiness tycoons are making beeline to invest in state.
Addressing the gathering after laying foundation stone of a Netherland based cattle feed plant, he said that farmers in Punjab and Haryana cultivating traditional crops are looking for ways to diversify their crops, or shift to Horticulture, Dairy, Poultry, Fishery, Piggery and others for better earnings. He said that De Heus, a top 10 global animal feed company from the Netherlands, Northwestern Europe, has set up this plant and brings hope to such farmers by setting up Rs 138 crore state-of-the-art plant
in Rajpura, Punjab to produce quality animal feed. Mr Mann envisioned that it will bring best farm practices to help them increase their earnings.
