Anti-terrorism Ops to continue for peace in J&K: Sinha

Jammu, Feb 17 (UNI) Stating that peace is the top priority in Jammu and Kashmir, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha said on Monday that anti-terrorism operations will continue and there will be no pause.
“Indian troops are effectively responding to the situation on the border,” Sinha replied to a query on recent spurt in violence along the Line of Control (LoC).
“Our Army is fully capable and providing an appropriate response on the border,” he said and informed that the security forces are also working in close synergy with the police to address the security challenges.
“Clear instructions are issued to eliminate and root out terrorism,” he said.
Jammu and Kashmir Lt Governor Sinha on February 13 also chaired a high-level meeting and reviewed the security scenario in Jammu Division.
He said, "Our focus should be on complete wipe-out of terrorism from Jammu Division."
“We should not even have remnants of terrorism in the Jammu region. Take effective steps to wipe-out
terrorism and ensure complete dismantling of the infrastructure and local support for terrorism,” the Lt
