Kochi, Jun 21 (UNI) Amrita Hospital Kochi continues to shine on the global stage, reaffirming its status as a leader in talent and technology.
Times Higher Education (THE) recognized Amrita Hospital as 7th ranked in good health and well being category. This prestigious acknowledgement is based on the institution's exceptional adherence to the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Among the 17 SDGs listed by the UN, SDG 3 is defined as the goal “to ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages.” Overall, the hospital has successfully treated a remarkable 2 crore+ patients over the past 25 years and has provided more than Rs 820 crore worth of charitable medical care in India, reaching 60 lakh patients by 2023.
