Agatha, Vincent file nominations for Tura & Shillong parliamentary seats

Shillong, Mar 26 (UNI) Two sitting veteran parliamentarians, Agatha Sangma of the National People’s Party (NPP) and Vincent H. Pala of the Congress, filed their nomination papers on Tuesday seeking re-election to the Tura and Shillong Lok Sabha seats, respectively.
Both Sangma and Pala, who were ministers in the Congress-led UPA government, are seeking to retain their seats for the fourth term.
After filing his nomination, Pala admitted that the anti-incumbency against the Congress is "very high" as he is seeking his fourth term for the party.
