A fire breaks out near Manipur Secretariat

Imphal, June 15 (UNI) A fire broke out at a building near the New Secretariat Complex here on Saturday. Fire tenders rushed in to control the fire as the building was adjacent to the BSNL office and other important government offices. The CM’s official residence and DGP office lie on the opposite side of the fire.
The smoke billowing from the fire could be seen far away, and large numbers of people came in to control the fire. It was not yet known how the fire started, and the loss was not yet estimated.
