5.8-magnitude quake hits Solomon Islands - GFZ

Beijing, Dec 8 (UNI) An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.8 jolted Solomon Islands at 00:41:03 GMT on Friday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 8.37 degrees south latitude and 157.20 degrees east longitude.
