187 farmer bodies vow to take their fight to villages

New Delhi, Nov 21 (UNI) Around 200 farmers organisations on Tuesday decided to take their fights to the villages, decision that was taken at the the end of two-day Kisan Mukti Sansad (farmers’ liberation parliament) organised by All India Kisan Sangharsh Coordination Committee (AIKSCC).
“We will go to each district in the country, take the opportunity to take feedback from the people, and tell the country what we learned from them. Once the bills come back, the working group will examine and then place the bills in Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha as private members’ bills”, VM Singh, Convener of AIKSCC told UNI.
The Kisan Mukti Sansad has ‘passed’ two bills - ‘Farmers freedom from Debt Bill and Guaranteed Fair and Remunerative Prices Bill’, suggest roadmap to overcome agrarian crisis. These bills will be introduced in Parliament as private members’ bill.
