'Namaste Yojana' to benefit rag pickers in UP as well

Prayagraj, Feb 17 (UNI) Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment BL Verma on Monday participated in the 'PPE Kit Distribution and Facilitation Program' at the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment's camp in Maha Kumbh Nagar.
During the event, the Union Minister interacted with devotees and sanitation workers, providing insights into various government schemes.
Speaking on the occasion, he emphasised that Maha Kumbh, the world's largest spiritual gathering, attracts millions of devotees who come to bathe at the Sangam. "Managing cleanliness and health services in such a vast congregation is a significant challenge, which the government is addressing through a well-structured plan," he said.

Medical intern expelled from DRPGMC Tanda for attacking junior with knife
